As we gear up for another adrenaline-packed season at Mad Dog Demo Derby, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible events and drivers who made last season unforgettable. From Enid, Oklahoma’s New Year’s Bash to the smashing excitement in Claremore, Shelbyville, and Lebanon, it’s clear that Mad Dog Demo Derby is growing stronger and more competitive with every event.
Last Season’s Highlights:
Enid, OK – New Year’s Bash (December 30th) Our New Year’s Bash brought the heat as drivers went all out to close the year with a bang. In the Semi-Stock class, Heston Kavanagh dominated both the podium and the Maddog award, proving he’s a force to be reckoned with. Over in Full-Size Stock, Wes Black took 1st place, while Logan Black claimed the Maddog title, putting on a show the crowd won’t soon forget. The compacts class saw Denton Shook take the win and Brent Parmer claim the Maddog award with his fearless driving.
Claremore, OK – January 20th January’s event in Claremore saw some intense competition. Jeff Peeples took home 1st place in the Full-Size Stock, but it was Logan Black who once again showed his prowess, earning the Maddog award for the second time in the season. Kooper Smith dominated the Compacts class, while Matt Druse brought home the Maddog award for his relentless performance. In the Full-Size Builders Class, Josh Schlatter claimed 1st, while Ian Smith wowed the crowd with a Maddog worthy performance.
Lebanon, MO – April 6th In Lebanon, Keith Reidenhour took 1st place in the Full-Size Unified Builders Class, with Brandon Early showing what it means to be a Maddog in the same class. The Unified Compact Class saw Kyle Werdehausen emerge victorious, and Derrick Werdenhausen claimed both 3rd place and the Maddog award for his hard-hitting, no-nonsense style. Logan Black continued his dominant season with another 1st place finish in Full-Size Stock, while his brother Wes Black added another Maddog award to the family collection. And let’s not forget the lawnmower class, congratulations to Chayton Reese for taking 1st place, and kudos to the kids in the Powerwheels for putting on a fantastic show!
Looking Forward to the Next Season
As we close the chapter on last season, we couldn’t be more excited about what’s in store for the next. The drivers, the competition, and the action are only going to get better from here. We’re thrilled to see new faces and returning champions, ready to take on the toughest competition yet.
